Have you got storage space to help the Freesia bookstall?
The popular Freesia bookstall desperately needs new storage space. Here is a message from Margaret, who organises the bookstall…
Since the Freesia bookstall began, storage for the books was very kindly provided in garage space of friends of the Freesia Group who live in the village. This space is no longer available so we are now having to look for somewhere else to store the books.
We are therefore asking for help from anyone who might have suitable free space that we can use to store the books and tables, or who might have ideas about where space might be available.
The tables are the trestle type, so collapsible, and the total space needed for the books and tables is approximately 2 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 1.3 metres high.
The books are transported to where the bookstalls are held in suitable private cars. It does mean though, that the cars are heavily laden, so we ideally need storage that is within or close to the village and that does not involve driving along rough tracks. We also need easy access to the space to load and unload the books and tables on bookstall days and which will not mean causing any sort of obstruction to other traffic.
If anyone can help, please get in touch via hello@ebreconnect.cat and we’ll pass the message on to Margaret.
See here for a list of forthcoming bookstall dates.
