New management with big ambitions for Pitch and Putt L’Ampolla
Currently not operating
A new management company has taken over L’Ampolla’s Pitch and Putt with big ambitions to breathe new life into the centre.
Dutch businessman and L’Ampolla resident Michael Visser heads the new management, which has a contract from L’Ampolla’s ajuntament to run the Pitch and Putt.
He told Perelló Plus: ‘We have big plans. We want to improve the facilities, develop it into a centre for entertainment and sport, and upgrade the kitchen to provide good food at a reasonable price for the area. It will be a place for families to come.’
There is an 18-hole pitch and putt course and two padel courts. The clubhouse has a reception area, changing rooms, bar and restaurant and a spacious shaded terrace area.
New yoga classes are already running and those who were members of the club under the previous owners are continuing to play. The pitch and putt course is also open to non-members.
Over the first two weekends in June, the centre will host a competition run by the Federacio Catalana de Pitch & Putt.
A re-launch party is planned for March with live music and a barbecue to introduce the new facility to members and local residents. Details will be announced soon.
