This weekend: Festes de Sant Pere in l’Ametlla de Mar

3 years ago News

L’Ametlla’s Festes de Sant Pere draw to a conclusion this weekend with lots of things going on to celebrate fishing and fishermen.

On Saturday morning at 9am there is a sardinada popular – grilled sardines – at the Confraria Nova de Pescadors.

From 6.30pm there is a ‘tarde esportiva’ with a swimming competition, a children’s running race and a balancing beam across the water. From 7.30pm there will be human towers.

On Sunday there is a kayak excursion for those who have already signed up.

Contact the tourist office at L’Ametlla for more information: ametllamar.cat/turisme or call 977 456 477.

For more about what’s going on locally see our 2016 Holidays, Fairs and Fiestas Calendar.
